Main Duties and Responsibilities

The business analyst’s primary objective is to help implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by
determining the requirements for new product features and change requests and communicating them
clearly to stakeholders and via verbal and written communication methods. This role serves as the conduit
between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team
through which requirements flow.

  • Identify stakeholder requirements for new functionality by proactively gaining feedback via interviews,
    workshops and site visits.
  • Identify areas where system functionality can be enhanced to improve customer experience and/or
    support team effectiveness.
  • Ability to manage constant change through innovation.
  • Triage of reported defects and change requests to ensure only valid requirements are added to the
    analysis or development backlog.
  • Creation of user stories and supporting requirements documentation from the analysis backlog in a
    given priority order.
  • Liaising with Software Developers during the development process to ensure their questions are
    answered regarding expected requirements and gaps in information provided.
  • Ensuring that user stories and supporting documentation are updated as required during the
    development process.
  • Review and sign-off of completed development work to verify that is meets the documented
    requirements.
  • Ownership for the planning, chairing and feedback of estimation meetings for new requirements.
  • Communicating with internal and external customers regarding the progress of feature requests,
    change requests and user stories.

Key Skills required (Must have/be)

  • Strong analytical ability, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and
    translate them into system and operational requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a
    diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others.
  • The ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
  • Business process mapping experience.

Desirable

  • A working knowledge of the hospitality industry, procurement and/or financial management.
  • Previous experience of working in software development.
  • Experience in Agile Software Development.

Software Test Analyst

Who you are

An enthusiastic, highly motivated and conscientious software test analyst with a wide range of skills, you will
provide support to the development and business analysts by providing quality assurance testing of the
Zupatech software and applications, including defining, executing and refining testing scripts as code passes
through the test environments.

Main Duties

Key to this role is also providing support to the Customer Services Team by providing advice at 3rd line support,
updates and training on new functionality and confirming quality of software.

  • Ensure software is tested in a timely and qualitative fashion, ensuring all aspects of functionality are
    tested in accordance with defined processes, guidelines and practices.
  • Provide documented evidence of testing sign off for deployment to Live.
  • Assist in ensuring that the Zupatech products are bug free and customer facing.
  • Responsibility for the quality of live releases pre and post deployment.
  • To keep abreast of planned release dates and deliverables.
  • To develop strong functional and process knowledge as both the system and process grows and
    implement testing procedures to evaluate new functionality.

Key Skills required (Must have/be)ï‚·

  • A good awareness of the software development lifecycle and understanding of its processes.
  • Functional testing experience across mobile, web applications, multiple databases and browsers.
  • Able to demonstrate effective software testing support on a daily basis with both personal and
    professional integrity.
  • A positive attitude to undertake tasks, including those of a repetitive nature.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • A logical and methodical approach with a keen eye for detail.
  • Able to investigate, interpret, analyse and report on system defects found on Zupatech systems.

Main Duties

The role will focus around 1st and 2nd line IT support for the internal and customer facing IT services. Main duties
will include:

  • Help desk and software support logging all incoming incidents.
  • Resolving internal and customer facing IT incidents including workstation, server and network issues.
  • IT Administration including backups, inventory, networking, cloud infrastructure and automated
    workstation builds.
  • Dealing with company communications and subscription contracts.
  • Maintaining key technology implementations including Active Directory, Office365 and Azure.
  • Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.

Key Skills required (Must have/be)

  • Good working knowledge of Windows 10 client operating system Operating systems.
  • Good working knowledge of hardware configurations (laptops, desktops, physical networking).
