Caternet charging and updates; it is very easy to use Caternet - a pc and broadband link, either IE7 or Firefox 2.x and you are up and running. Caternet is charged on the basis of a % of the purchases that you put through the system, you are provided with a no limit multiple access licence and all relevant updates are free. There is no capital outlay and we work on a fair charging policy.
There are some one-off costs; areas such as specific supplier integration with e-procurement, bespoke programming, hardware required (e.g. Epos), licensed use of our daily updated Matrix knowledge base and initial training courses for super and daily users are identified and agreed during the sales process.
Caternet system development; is actioned in-house via our in-house ASP.NET developers, and we operate a client Caternet forum where we receive and discuss all comments about improvements from our users. If the improvements are going to benefit the community we will develop them free of charge and all users benefit. If the improvement is bespoke to the specific customer we will happily develop the requirements at an agreed cost.
Data security; your data is securely held within a UKFast facility so we have a guaranteed 99.9% access to the server uptime and worst case two hours recovery with off-site mirrored back-ups. The cost of this service is included in your licence fee. If required, your data can be held on a separate server with you having the password for access to the data so no-one can get access to your specific information (even our developers), but this means that updates to the Caternet system will require developer time at an agreed cost as well as the cost for the server at the UKFast facility being passed on to you. Alternatively you can have the data held at a location of your choosing, but we will not take any responsibility for the data security in this instance.
Software licence; you will be buying a multiple access, annual 'evergreen' licence which continues at an agreed notice period to allow for data transfer should you decide at a time in the future that you want to move away from using the Caternet system.
Matrix knowledge base; we provide a fully updated knowledge base with HSE/HACCP, employment law and an RSS feed on food alerts. The system also provides a comprehensive marketing and category management service (with a full promotional calendar), and access to our e-training library, central recipe ideas (all with nutritional analysis) and a private gallery for you to use to provide your own internal discussions and information flow.
Mobilisation; our fully trained ‘H-Team’ will provide a comprehensive mobilisation process for you at an agreed cost. This will be identified during the sales process.
Help notes, and help line; there are static and interactive help notes on each page within the system to help users, and we have a help line (01730 897099) available between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday (included in the licence fee) with an out of hours support line available 24/7 which is chargeable.
