Membership
Membership – Caternet Ltd is the owner of Caternet and is an independently owned company specialising in foodservice management solutions. We believe our unique selling point is that we our systems have been developed by caterers so the software tends to be intuitive and easy to use.
Membership of Caternet is free and there are free services available as well as paid subscription services from Internet based software hosted in a 24/7 secure data warehouse.
We follow a fair charging policy where we charge you a % of food purchases (as that tends to dictate what size of business/operation you are and how much you will use the system) for a multiple access licence (we don’t make more from you as more uses come onto the system), and we reduce the licence fee in the second year onwards to 65% of the first year fee – all upgrades and improvements are then free of charge and if a new module is provided you get the chance to subscribe to it free of charge if you agree to beta test the module (our development standards are working towards ISO 27001 so our testing processes are 99% complete before we release on beta).
We will be operating a forum from so that you can make any ideas and suggestions to improve the products and if the ideas are seconded/supported by other Caternet members then we will develop an upgrade patch to implement the suggested improvements.
If there are any additional charges (training library, integrations, individual programming days), we will provide you with a tariff before you incur and costs.
