Not only are all Caternet modules ‘capital-free’, the G-Shop eProcurement system is guaranteed to cost you nothing in the first year! Here is how we can offer such a great opportunity to work with the UK’s newest and most dynamic Internet based catering management system...

If the G-Shop system doesn’t save you the licence fee charged then we will re-credit the fee difference over the second year*. The terms of this guarantee are outlined here:

The guaranteed savings agreement is for the first year of operation only, of a three year fixed term multiple user licence. The savings will include food, labour and other associated costs made through improved purchasing control and operational processes. We will outline these with you in a ‘guarantee plan’, and will audit this through the year. Our savings ready reckoner is available and will be used to agree the target savings available to you if using G-Shop. If you choose not to make those savings for non-related reasons, (i.e. re-deployment of cost), then the guarantee is void.

The licence fee will be established as a % of the annual turnover of your operation, and we will charge you that fee on a monthly basis, either directly from your suppliers, or via a fee invoice directly to you. The % at risk will be for the basic G-Shop system only, and if you choose to use any of the other Caternet apps to help manage your operation the fee for those apps are not included in this guarantee.

Together, we will agree your anticipated spend for the year in advance and this will be recorded (we will ask you for evidence of this annual spend), and this will set the target food cost. We will set the opening indices of the price files that you choose to purchase from, and the movement of these prices (your ‘shopping basket’) will be tracked with the average growth/reduction in prices compared to the Government’s relevant retail price index for food during the guarantee plan. This statistic will be taken into consideration at the year-end financial analysis, as will any changes in the food commodities purchased (i.e. if the menu has changed from the previous menus the resulting food costs will need to be taken into account).

The final food cost purchased through G-Shop will be compared against your previous catering costs on a like-for-like basis and, with the indices above, we will agree a ‘net position’, which will include any labour or associated cost reductions made through operational efficiencies facilitated by the use of the G-Shop system.

If you have placed 100% of your catering purchasing volumes through the G-Shop System, but that position has cost more than the previous year after the net position is calculated, and you have followed the guarantee plan, then we will recredit the G-Shop licence fee less the actual savings for the first year during the second year of the contract.

Guarantee applicable only to customers with a three-year initial contract commitment to G-Shop, with 100% of spending put through the G-Shop system. Your previous annual spend will be based on arm’s length commercial transactions for same food, supply arrangements and volumes.

Following the first year, for the final two years of the guarantee agreement, the G-Shop % licence fee will be charged as agreed at the beginning of the contract (subject as varied between us, if relevant). Any refund given by us to you under the guarantee will be recharged to you should you terminate (or we terminate for whatever reason) within the three-year term.
