Caternet starts with phasing your budget and setting your accounting periods. It then supports the catering team through the ordering of the goods via e-procurement (we can provide a net priced purchasing service or you can use your own suppliers), recording the 'daily diary' of sales, transfers and overheads associated with the catering operation as well as audit control such as cash, purchasing, catering event quotes and staff costs.
Caternet then provides a full MIS through to the profit and loss account, all integrated into your accounts package and any other hospitality systems that you may already have in your business, via several output data configurations that can be either manually or automatically updated.
The system is a 'live' data system so you can view the operating performance of your catering team at any time you choose.
It also provides full drill down facilities so you can study trends and make projections against performance, as well as quickly checking the prices of the food and other goods you buy over your chosen accounting periods.

Whilst Caternet is a comprehensively integrated catering system, it can be as small or as big as you want it to be. The SQL dbase format allows for all permutations of catering operation to be supported, so what we want to make sure is that you understand how it can be easily personalized to fit your operation like a glove and to provide you with a powerful management tool.

From multiple system integration to a self contained management information system, we will take you through the main features and then spend time with you, tailoring the system for your needs. We can also come to your site if you have a group of users who want to see the system.
